When did the Boogie Down Grind open?
We started as a joint venture as part of the Birch Coffee family of coffee shops back in 2016. In 2017, on January 15th, Martin Luther King Jr’s birthday and in honor of his commitment to economic empowerment in our communities, we re-launched our cafe as the Boogie Down Grind, celebrating it as 100% locally owned.
What products do you sell?
We serve specialty espresso coffee and teas, pastries, beer, wine, sangria, specialty cocktails, paninis, Table 187 Stone Oven pizza and wings. See our menu here.
Do Artists show their work at the Grind?

Can I buy any merch in the store?
We have SELECTED ITEMS in-store. All other merchandise is available on our website’s online store.
Can I sell my products here?

Do you have WiFi?
Yes we do, and lots of electrical outlets too! Come on in and grab a drink and get some work done too! Win-win!
Do you offer in-app food delivery?
Yes, you can order from here with Uber Eats. Hours are: Monday – Friday: 9 AM – 3:30 PM Saturday: 12 PM – 3 PM
Do you offer non-dairy options?
Yes. We have oat, hemp, coconut, and almond Milk.
Do you have any non-coffee menu items?
Absolutely! We have herbal teas, matcha, chai, passionfruit juice, lemonade, sparkling unsweetened waters, as well as our over 21 beverage menu.
Do you provide any specialty beverages?
Yes, the Grandmaster Frappe, Taro Latte Boba Tea Hot Cocoa (Chocobar Cortes) and our luscious Toasted Almond Iced Tea (contains nuts).
What flavors do you have?
The best quality chocolate, caramel, hazelnut, lavender, vanilla, pumpkin spice, AND popcorn or peppermint for the more adventurous.
What other beverages can I get at The Grind?
We offer lemonade, iced black green, or passionberry teas, passionfruit juice, matcha, and taro.
Do you offer vegan items?
Yes! Vegan panini sandwiches (spinach, sun dried paste, olive spread), and all our muffins are vegan.
What alcoholic beverages do you offer?
Award winning local Gun Hill Brewery beers on tap, and some bottled favorites. We also have red sangria, prosecco, wine and specialty cocktails.
